Yes. The Free plan includes daily check-in, email and push reminders, and 1 emergency contact — completely free, forever. No account required.
What does the Lifetime plan add over Free?
Lifetime is a feature upgrade: custom check-in times, check-in notes, manual alert test (so you can verify your contact actually receives alerts), a basic passive monitoring view, and smart alerts with activity context. Lifetime still includes 1 emergency contact — the same as Free. If you need multiple emergency contacts, you need the Family plan.
Why are the prices shown as limited-time offers?
Both the Lifetime and Family plans are at their early-access prices while we continue to improve the product. These are the prices you pay today at checkout.
What does Family add over Lifetime?
Family adds up to 10 emergency contacts (vs 1 on Free and Lifetime), a real-time guardian dashboard, weekly activity reports, 4-stage escalation (multiple reminders before alerting contacts — fewer false alarms), SMS alerts, full passive activity monitoring, custom alert timing (2-12 hours), and priority support. It's billed yearly at $19.99/year — about $1.66/month.
Why does Lifetime only have 1 contact?
Lifetime is designed for solo adults who have one trusted person — a spouse, sibling, or close friend. The feature upgrade (custom times, notes, test alerts) makes it worth paying for. Multiple contacts are the Family plan feature — that's who needs them: parents with adult children, or anyone coordinating care across a family.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes. Start free and upgrade anytime from the app. You can move from Free to Lifetime (feature upgrade) or from any tier to Family (contact + dashboard upgrade). Cancel Family anytime — you keep Lifetime features if you purchased that.
Will the Free plan stay free?
Yes. The core daily check-in with 1 emergency contact will remain free forever. No account needed, no strings attached. We believe basic safety shouldn't have a price tag.
